We are living at a time where there is a great shaking going on and great uncertainty, but we are in the Kingdom of God and His Christ that is certain and cannot be shaken. This is to remind you of what cannot be shaken.
1: God and His Throne cannot be shaken
Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom,
And Your dominion endures throughout all generations. Psalm 145:13
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday today and forever. Hebrews 13:8
No one dethrones Him and usurps His Authority.
The Throne of God is eternally secured and He rules over the affairs of men. All thrones are subject to His throne.
2: The Truth of the Scripture cannot be shaken – The word of God
Forever, O Lord,
Your word is settled in heaven. Psalm 119:89
For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Hebrews 4:12
Grass withers flower fades but the word of the Lord stands forever (Isaiah 40:8), its promises prophecies and power cannot change.
Beloved, traditions and culture shift but the word of God is unchanging. For the Bible says “Forever, O Lord, Your word is settled in heaven”.
3: The Church that Jesus is Building can never be shaken
I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. Matthew 16:18
Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come. 2 Thessalonians 2:1-2
The Church is NOT a building but the ones that have accepted Jesus as their Saviour and Lord.
Those He gave the RIGHT to be called sons of God (John 1:12) are the members in the Church.
We are all over the world knitted together in Spirit. We are beyond the local community. We are in every village, town, city and nation. The Church is in every tongue, colour and race, male and female, old and young.
Rejoice that you are part of God’s Redeemed Family.
Our faith that hangs on His word will be the unchanging faith.
