Happy, Happy, Happy New Year to you and my prayer is that in this New Year you will walk closer and closer each day with our Lord.

Nowadays I never get tired of hearing an aunty or uncle commenting on how much I look like my father or mother. One person would say… “you have your dad’s head shape” or “you have your mum’s nose.” I usually laugh at this but it is true I am a product of my parents – their traits of personality and physical appearance as well as other things mixed in to one. A slight reflection!

We as Children of God must be the reflection of Christ. Am I a true reflection? Do others see Christ in me? People must be able to see Christ in us, shining brightly. The Bible says “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven”. (Matthew 5:16).

Reflecting Christ means being love orientated and love driven. Light brings illumination, it breaths brilliance. I’m not saying we are perfect but each day we step towards becoming better with the help of the Holy Spirit and not in our own strength achat viagra pharmacie en ligne.

When Christ was on the earth He reflected God whole heartedly. The Bible says in Hebrews? ?1?:?2b-3 (MSG) “By his Son, God created the world in the beginning, and it will all belong to the Son at the end. This Son perfectly mirrors God, and is stamped with God’s nature. He holds everything together by what he says—powerful words!”??

Also Colossians? ?1?:?15? says “He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.”??

We were never commanded to like people but to love them. That light within us it is the Holy Spirit and He teaches us how to love, we just have to be willing students and put it in to practise.

Stay tuned, there’s more to come in next month’s article.
