This is a month for us to gather together as family and friends to rejoice at God’s goodness since planting House on The Rock International.
He is our Ebenezer indeed; we have the confidence that He who began His good work in our lives, will finish it till the end.
There is a precious song that says “Looking back in my life I see many things you have done for me, I thank you O Lord.” This is the time to really look at our lives and say thank you for all the things the good Lord had done.
I remembered the day I heard the Lord tell me to plant the church. I looked at the people, including children, who were meeting in our house for fellowship and thought “O God help me.” When I shared the vision to plant House on The Rock with them, little did I know that the Holy Spirit was preparing all of us for a great work that will take the ministry to different countries of the world. I had no idea that we will have a congregation from over twenty nations, supporting various outreaches that extend to Asia. I did not know we will also have a charity shop that caters for the need of the community.
ALL FROM BERMONDSEY!
As Philip said to Nathanael, “Can anything good come out of Nazareth?” (John 1:46); Can anything good come out of our Bermondsey? We join Philip to say: ‘Come and see from the 12th to the 14th of July 2013!’
It can only be the work of the Holy Spirit, for a woman like me to Pastor such great people and for my husband to be the Administrator of this great house!
It can only be the work of the Holy Spirit to bring together people who speak over thirty different languages to worship ONE LORD AND KING – JESUS CHRIST!
It can only be the Holy Spirit to raise children from Sunday School, make then university graduates, get employment in various professions and make them Sunday School teachers too!
The Lord has taught us over the years that it is not about the number of people but about the power of INFLUENCE THROUGH LOYALTY AND FAITHFULNESS.
It is the Holy Spirit that has been our HELPER AND WILL CONTINUE TO BE OUR HELPER!
Wondering about where to worship? Why don’t you come and see the wonders of our God?
