Let’s Keep The Light on Regardless

It is winter and it gets dark quickly but one thing is noticeable in this season, a bit of sun can still be seen in the sky before it gets dark.

Ladies and gentlemen, if because it’s cold your windows are shut, curtains drawn throughout the cold season, you are bound to develop some illness or even an infection of some sort, so my advise to you is to always draw the curtains and let’s have some light regardless.

There is something about darkness in any home or environment. It is a sign of depression. It is a sign of unhappiness and a sign that something is wrong somewhere.

In the beginning God said it wasn’t good to have darkness dominate the world and He fixed what wasn’t good by creating the bigger light to rule the day and the lesser light to rule the night. God is still saying it is not good for darkness to rule your day and night. So let’s have some light.

Look around you and see many lights, not just the electric lights, but God’s redeemed people. Each one of us is positioned with solutions for the world around us. We are positioned in various nations of the world as Christ Ambassadors. To continue to function as agents of light let’s keep the light on regardless.

You are the light of the world – like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will glorify your Heavenly Father (Matthew 5:14-16).
