“You will arise and have mercy on Zion; for the time to favour her, Yes the set time, has come.” (Psalm 102:13)
We are living at a time that God’s favour is rapidly serving the purpose of God in the lives of His people.
More than ever, this is the time to experience the favour of God. The Psalmist talked about a set time. The wise King Solomon also said, “For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven.” (Ecclesiastes 3:1)
I come to tell you that this is your set time and by your choice, it can be too!
It can be your set time to plant, as it is a set time to harvest. It can be your set time to restructure your organisation or to start your business. It can be your set time to start a new relationship after the last disappointment.
I am saying “it can be” because of the choice factor. We have a choice to own our set time or choose not to own it by our attitude, but I pray that as you read this message, you will join others who have owned their set time and are experiencing the fruits of their labour.
What attitude am I to exercise in my set time?
The fear of God in all you do is important. The attitude of “how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?” (Genesis 39:9). Ladies and gentlemen if only you and I can see that sin is first against God, we would not dare hide our sins hoping no one sees it, but rather confess and find mercy as He sees all things.
So let the fear of God be the beginning of wisdom and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding (Proverbs 9:10).
Let the attitude of humility be your garment. The Holy Scripture says, “But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: God resists the proud, but give grace to the humble.” (James 4:6)
Let the attitude of love for God and for man be dominant in your heart. Love without hypocrisy should rule your heart.
A humble man is greatly favoured by God. I want to let you know that it’s time to let go of pride.
When it is your set time, God will arise and show you mercy, if you walk in the fear of God and humble yourself and love without hypocrisy. May this time be a time of mercy for you!
There is something about favour; to man, it doesn’t look fair on others, when you and I are favoured. It brings a sort of resentment against the favoured one. The word often said is, “are you the only one?”
To experience favour I dare you to live according to God’s purpose. Dare to step into His call, dare to obey Him regardless of the challenge and you will see gates opening of their own accord. Certain officers will be appointed to restore your inheritance taken by others.
If Jesus Christ while on the earth grew in wisdom and stature and found favour with God and men, it is also consequential that you and I experience the same and this is the set time to experience favour.
Give Up and Go up!
Favour awaits your godly choice!
