God Is Doing A New Thing In Our Lives – PRAISE THE LORD

Let everything that has breath praise the Lord! We have every reason to praise the Lord in this season.

Firstly, summer is here and we just celebrated a glorious weekend of thanking God for His goodness, as people saved by grace. We looked back to years of God processing us through His Holy Spirit. We laughed so much seeing some pictures of our humble beginning, recognising that God is still working in us and the process will still continue.

It is good to keep old pictures for memories so you can truly appreciate what the Lord has done over the years and how he had truly turned your ashes to beauty. This beauty is not always physical; it is also the beauty of the spirit. It is only the Holy Spirit that can renew the spirit of a man to be what it was purposed to be. He can process a man or woman who is clueless about their future and show them how beautiful things will be or how fruitful they will become.

Nothing looked promising to begin with but today it is a different story for us. The foundation of this great house has been laid on the foundation of God’s word because the word of God is true. Praise The Lord!

We are moving from childishness to maturity in faith as the writer of Hebrew said “For everyone who partake only of the milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe, but solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil. Therefore, leaving the discussion of the elementary principles of Christ, let us go on to perfection, laying again the foundation of repentance for dead works and faith towards God, of doctrine of baptisms of laying on of hands, of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgement. And this will do if God permits.” Hebrew 5:13-end, Hebrew 6:1-3.

The word of God also says “Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love, of brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart, having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever because all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of the grass. The grass withers, and its flower falls away, but the word of The Lord endures forever. Now this is the word which by the gospel was preached to you.” 1 Peter 1:22-25.

Thank God for the love of Christ shared and experienced by the saints of God and that includes me as the Pastor of the church. Truly the sheep you care for will provide you with wool, milk and food!

Praise God for the power of His word which was preached and will continue to be preached to us all. We will continue using every Godly medium to do so because we have experienced the power of the word.

There are things that are new to us but nothing is new to God and as we exalt the word of God, we experience new grace, favour, breakthroughs, divine provision, healing and deliverance. We experience new victory in the midst of battles as the war is won already at Calvary!

I pray that we experience the power of the word of God afresh! This prayer is very important at this time when our world and culture keeps changing. We must stand on the truth we know that will never change, for the word of God has outlived every culture and government of this world.

18 years of laying a solid foundation! Now is the time for new things. Now is the time for action!
